Winter Solstice Celebration

THE PROBLEM:

A large national organisation was looking for a special end-of-year celebration to treat staff and make them feel nurtured and rested. After a tough year, staff were tired, drained and uninspired. As a result the client felt they needed an appropriate celebration to close the year and mark the season.

OUR SOLUTION:

We collaborated with the client to develop and deliver a Winter Solstice Celebration to relax and revive staff. The workshop was hosted around Winter Solstice, the darkest day of the year, As part of the celebration we delved into cyclic winter wisdom, as well as exploring the wisdom of cycles more generally.

THE OUTCOME:

• Participants felt re-energised and reported enjoying lasting deep relaxation and restorative practices

• The team learned how cycles play a part in our lives and how to navigate these cycles in future

• A bonding experience was enjoyed by staff gathering and undertaking this restorative process together
